Submissions

Manuscript  Submissions   Sparklesoup LLC is a publisher with over 180 titles. We publish over 100 titles a year in areas of fiction, non-fiction, and educational aids.   At this time, the only submissions we are accepting are proposals, queries, and complete manuscripts from writers or agents in the following categories: Non-fiction Self-Help Non-fiction Business Non-fiction Inspirational Non-fiction Workbooks Professional Technical Books Submissions for: Law Materials Seeking Authors with a J.D. in law to write technical law materials and study guides. Finance and Business Seeking Authors with a Ph.D or MBA in Finance or Business to write professional level technical books. Please send submissions with promotion plans and statement on why this is a book that should be published.  i.e. What makes this book or software unique?  Why would the public want to purchase this book? By submitting work to Sparklesoup for publication, you are attesting that you are submitting original work.  Writers with non-compete agreements with other publishers must get clearance or permission prior to submitting work to Sparklesoup.  If such an agreement exists between the writer and competing publisher prior to writer approaching Sparklesoup with work-for-hire or completed manuscript, Sparklesoup does not and will not consider works by the writer unless there is a written notice that the writer has received permission from the competing publisher.  Sparklesoup assumes no responsibility or liability for the publication of work if  writer does not make it known there exist a non-compete agreement between prior competing publishers and writer.  Submissions will be answered within 1 to 2 months.  Thank you.    Send submissions to:   Sparklesoup LLC c/o Submissions PO Box 142003 Irving, TX 75014

What We Pay

Although we are a small  independent  publisher, we are fully functional. We are not a subsidy publisher where you have to pay to get your book published or listed. We want to reward you for writing a great book and following the publication of your book with enthusiastic marketing. In other words, we want to work with authors who take an active team participation in promoting your own work. You should be just as proud of your work as we are in publishing it. We want to encourage you to actively promote your books once you become an author with us.  . Because of this, we offer an above industry royalty of 10 - 20% of publisher's net sales of your book or game in ebook and/or paperback.    In some instances, there may be an outright purchase of rights or a work would be commissioned by us (the publisher) for a set rate.
